Local Impact

Civic Engagement & Volunteering

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. - African Proverb

When we say ‘to whom much is given, much is required’ - we mean it. We are out here in the streets trying to change our community, one block at a time. We also know the importance of support and mobilization to create real, sustainable impact.

Sometimes you don’t know who to contact to get involved. Maybe you show up at volunteer events and it feels like no one even cares that you are there. You don’t have to already be a member of a group to make a difference. We don’t judge people for not knowing much about local elections and where they can connect. Everyone has to start somewhere - the question is: WHEN will you start?

Let’s change the narrative and do more together.

"Old Man Billy Peebles" Scholarship Golf Tournament, 2018

For the Community,
By the Community

If you have been thinking about ways to impact the Triangle community, but you don’t know how or where to get started, join us. You may already be connected to organizations or community leaders who do good, reputable work - tell us. Consider scholarship golf tournaments, tutoring at local schools, and get out the vote initiatives. Election season is coming up and voting still matters. As we build out this program, we are throwing our passions for education, civic engagement, and volunteering behind it. More to come.
